Hello family,
I have had a great, relaxing day. We rented motorbikes and rode all over Pakse for a couple of hours. Then a couple of us went to the school and assisted the teachers in choosing the best textbooks for their classes. There was no teaching today. We are taking on the city basketball team tonight at 5pm, and we are expecting a great time of fun for all! We leave first thing in the morning to catch a bus to Uban Ratchatani, which is just across the Lao border into Thailand. We will fly from Uban to Bangkok. Tomorrow night, we will be staying in Bangkok, then leaving sometime on Monday to fly to Hong Kong. It is hard to leave this city where we have come to love the people and culture, but everyone feels a greater love to return to our families in the U.S.
